Bridge-and-roll
The bridge-and-roll is a specific top-mount bottom escape where you prevent your opponent on top from posting with their arms and legs while you then "upa" or bridge-and-roll to roll the opponent off of you, usually landing you inside their closed-guard as you roll to the top unless you immediately transition to another position.
Bridge-and-roll sometimes refers to the action of the "upa" itself.
