Closed guard
Closed guard, or full guard, is a guard position in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, where even though you are on the bottom position on the ground, facing your opponent, your legs are wrapped around your opponent's torso with feet interlocked, giving you substantial control of their hips, spine, and shoulders. This is one of the first guard positions you learn in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and allows for effective setups for submissions such as arm locks and choking.
