Guillotine choke

Guillotine choke

The guillotine choke in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, known as mae-hadaka-jime or front naked choke in Judo, is a popular choke where when sprawled on your opponent, you encircle the opponent's neck, without their arm trapped in the loop (thus a "naked" choke), using a number of grips including a hand-over-hand grip, a figure-four arm lock, an S-grip, or others, and then force their head down onto your choking arm using your body. Your forearm and biceps are used to pressure their carotid arteries. It, as its name in Judo suggests, is like a rear naked choke with your body turned the other way, usually being sprawled on the opponent rather than being in a back control position.
